What actually fits in a 20-yard skip

A nominal 15 cubic metres does not mean you fill it with concrete. This splits a villa fit-out from a slab breakout.

The common class, not a millimetre promise

A 20-yard skip in the Riyadh market is near 6 metres long, about 2.3 wide and about 1.1 high. Those are the figures contractors actually use. Fabrication can move by centimetres. What we lock at booking is the yard size, not a factory drawing.

Fit-out fills the volume

Gypsum, timber, tile, doors and bags full of air fill the box before the weight limit. One floor of a north-Riyadh villa fit-out is often a single 20-yard if the site does not mix in reinforced concrete.

Concrete fills the weight

Concrete debris can reach the loading limit before the container is full by volume. Confirm the weight limit for the actual unit and materials in the booking agreement. Do not rely on a general number or the space above the waste. Stop at the agreed limit and request a review if uncertain.

Declare concrete, tile, timber and any unknown materials before booking so acceptance and loading limits can be confirmed.
